Best Panini Grill

Can I use george foreman grill to make panini sandwich ? I just bought george foreman grill (clam type, for 3 burgers, model GR12, no temperature control). Can I use this grill to make panini sandwich ? I am not sure if both sides of the grill generate heat, but can I use this. Thanks a bunch.

Can you make a panini sandwich in a George Foreman Grill? Or will it burn the bread? Would only a panini press do the job? I have to many small appliances cluttering the kitchen as it is, so don't want to add another one. Is a George Foreman Grill really that great of an investment? I am on a diet, strict one at that, complete with a personal trainer 5 days a week. I would really like an easier way to make food that I actually like (short of cereal, protein bars, and salads) and I have heard lots of people claim the GF is spectacular, but I was on the receiving end of some food cooked on one many years ago, and it was beyond inedible. I'm thinking grilled zucchini, chicken, sandwich/panini, etc. Also, and good, easy recipe sites would be awesome.

Funny Question about Oven Baked Sandwich/Panini? I'm at work and I have a Deli Chicken Breast and Cheddar Cheese Sandwich. However I want to warm it so that the bread is toasty and the cheese melted. I have an oven, a microwave and a toaster at work. What is the best way to do this since at home I usually use my george foreman grill to make paninis?
