what is youre favorite sandwich? mine is a gyro, the greek ones on pita bread with lamb and onions and cucumber sauce, they are so tasty. also a good italian beef or italian hamburger is great, if you live anwhere close to rockfalls illinois you gotta get one at angelos pizza, they are the best. but for sandwiches i make at home ham and swiss on wheat bread or a blt with swiss cheese. but i like to be different and try new things. a grilled peanut butter and honey on wheat bread is the bomb, especially with chunky peanut butter. or a grilled corned beef hash with swiss on rye bread is really great too. i just wonder if you all have a favorite regional sandwich or just a home recipe for some kind that is different from the normal things most people eat everyday but is very tasty.

roast porchetta Roman style ? The best sandwich I ever had was from a stall near the central train station in Rome - a heavily salted, whole suckling pig with herbs and a light gravy on crusty white bread. The herbs - (rosemary, garlic and I think Thyme) were pressed into the crackle and it had been grilled over charcoal. There was also a marianade and I have never been able to pin this down. Can I get some help with grilling Tofu? We're hosting a NCAA tournament saturday. I'm an avid BBQ'er, so I'm cooking up some ribs and chicken to chop and make into sandwiches. I know you can grill it, but what's the best type to use? (Firm? Extra firm?). And what is a good way to do it? Just grill up slices? I thought I might cube it up or chop it after it was cooked and serve it similar to the chicken (chopped for sandwiches). But since I know little about tofu, I dunno if that'd work. Any advice, recipes, etc?

Would this grilled cheese recipe work? I would butter one side of each piece of wheat toast. Place thinnly sliced deli cornned beef and a couple slices of swiss cheese. And then grill in the pan. So I’m going grocery shopping later in the afternoon and I need some ideas on what to buy for lunch. I live alone, so I don't want to get too much or buy something pricey (e.g. lobster). I’m not big on a lot of leftovers either. Usually I don’t have a lot of time, so I’ll eat something quick like a grilled cheese sandwich with a salad, or some cottage cheese with tomatoes and crackers. I need some ideas. Panini Sandwiches?? Does anyone have any good Panini sandwich recipes? I have a George Foreman Grill with interchangable plates for baking, frying and making waffles. I purchased it from QVC. The enclosed cookbook is limited on recipes Sue and Preston, you've given me some good information. Thanks!

anybody want a great grilled cheese recipe? Here it is; Use your favorite bread, spread margarine on one side of each slice of bread of course and start with a hot pan. Place one slice in pan, marg side down, place one slice of cheese on bread and then place some thin sliced summer sausage on it, followed by another slice of cheese. Palce 2nd slice of bread with marg on it, on the sandwich and coodk until good and brown on both sides, ya'll. Now this is a good sandwich. You might even try two different kinds of cheese, such as; swiss and regular. Some variations include using deer summer sausage, but the normal summer sausage you find at places like Hickory Farms, ( Wal Mart and your local food store will have cheaper and just as good brands), taste great !

Recipes for toddlers? I have a 23 month old (almost 2) little brother. I love to bake, and I would love to have him help me. Does anybody know of some recipes that he could help me make. These recipes can be home-made candy, desserts, lunch, dinner, breakfast, snacks, anything. Things I don NOT want are PB&J, Grilled Cheese, things like that. I DON'T want to make something like a sandwich. Keep in mind he is only 2. Thank you for all your help. Links and/or recipes are appreciated.

easy toddler recipes? My 3 y.o. loves bread, grilled cheese sandwich, mac and cheese, chicken nugget, and ham. That's about it. Can you suggest anything quick and easy that she might go for? I've tried spaghetti, she doesn't like that. Something like making pizza from storebought biscuits, something like that. HELP!!!

Anyone know how to make chicken in Krups panini maker? I have a Krups PG7000 Panini maker. It came with a recipe booklet that had instructions on grilling chicken breast using the machine. I can't find my recipe book and don't know what temp setting or how long to cook. I tried to wing it the other day and I overcooked the chicken.... but not sure if too hot or too long. I think it will make nice chicken for sandwiches and salads if I can figure it out.
