Best Panini Grill

What is the temperature of a George Forman grill?

I'd like to know how it compares to a panini grill. I often travel for work, weeks at a time, and I want to save money by cooking in my hotel room, rather than going out every night. Harsh comments- but funny. I'll defend the grill- it sat in my closet for years. After making chicken that was too dry, or greasy, I decided to try the old Foreman grill, and it came out perfect! Now all I have to do is put the chicken in there, throw some herbs on it set a timer, and in 7 minutes, it's perfect- every time! I'll make roasted garlic and olive oil, or low-fat sauces- I don't have to use any butter or oil, and it tastes just as good as cooking it on a stove. Other points- a foreman grill is great to use when you can't have a real grill, like in the city, and in the winter (both situations apply to me), and it uses less power than if I were to bake the chicken in an oven. And yes, it is juvenile, but the fact is that it works, and works pretty well! Also- "FancyChef" - nobody likes a snob.

  1. I have no idea. Do you have one of those cool infrared sensor thermometers that takes the surface temp of things? Probably not, or you wouldn't be asking. Did you try looking it up on their website?
  2. not hot enough for proper cooking, that's for sure.
  3. You use a Foreman grill, hahahahahahaha....lmaorotfkas...what are you in college in the deep south??????? Chef Nasty is right, sorry for being so harsh but c'mon a saute pan or a BBQ grill works better than a Foreman.
