I recieved a quesdilla maker for a gift, what the heck are the good for? Any favorite tips or recipes. The only thing I found use for was making grilled cheese sandwiches.

- Shot in the dark here, but what about making a quesdilla with one??? Here is a link to a host of recipes http://allrecipes.com/Search/Recipes.aspx?WithTerm=quesadilla
- Grilled Cheese Sandwiches! I love them. Party at your house!
- We got one as a wedding gift, and I've honestly only used mine once. We made quesadillas in it, but honestly I do a better job in a cast iron skillet, as the ones out of the maker seemed kind of dry. Never thought of using it for grilled cheese :-) I guess you could actually make any kind of grilled sandwich in it :-) Here's an idea for you: Take rye bread, butter the outside of two slices. Put sliced corned beef and mozarella cheese inside, and grill until cheese is all melty. Open each sandwich and put mayo and mustard and some drained sauerkraut inside. Walla! Rubens! Good luck with you Q. maker :-)
- I have one but I think I only used it once! I thought well how cool, I can make quesdillas so much easier now.....fixed them one night for my parents and that was the last time that thing was used... I think you are probably getting more use out of it making grilled cheese sandwiches! Once I got married, I think my quesdilla maker is still at my parents house in the cabinet. I guess I should drag that thing to my house. I had always wanted to take pastry dough and fill it with some kind of fruit filling or pudding and throw it into the quesdilla maker and make some kind of pie. I have also wanted to try that with my sandwich maker or I should say makers...we received two as wedding gifts.
- We use it probably 5 times a year. Sometimes we use at home and sometimes people request we bring it when visiting. With us its a social a thing with friends, we make batches of them. Usually for football games, friends hanging out, playing games. We make up our own recipes we put chicken, ham, pepperoni, salsa, spinach, broccoli, jalapenos and all sorts of cheeses. We just experimented and see what's good. And the kids love it too.
