Best Panini Grill

where can i find flatbread for paninis?

i manage a cafe in Coeur d' Alene Idaho, and our panini's are made with sourdough flat bread. Does anyone know where i can find a provider? The provider i have has just doubled its prices...

  1. The tortilla isle of the grocery store.
  2. Whole Foods or Trader Joes.
  3. I have never used "flat bread" for panini before. I usually use Ciabatta or French/Italian bread. If you have a local Farmer's Market, I would try finding a vendor there.Usually you can get a good discount with a weekly volume purchase.
  4. Not sure if they carry it, but Bella Cosa in the Wallingford District of Seattle carries many Italian specialty items. If they don't have what you need, they could possibly refer you. They have an excellent variety of panini's they serve for lunch! Good luck!
  5. Trader Joe's on Queen Anne or the little middle eastern market accross from Pike Place market. They actually have a few different types of flat bread...middle eastern, Indian...some with herbs...but they are a bit pricier than Trader Joe's. There is also a place at Pioneer Square...a little greek restaurant that sells gyros for less than $5 bucks ( near the corner of 1st and S Main). I just got mine from there....
