Best Panini Grill

Funny Question about Oven Baked Sandwich/Panini?

I'm at work and I have a Deli Chicken Breast and Cheddar Cheese Sandwich. However I want to warm it so that the bread is toasty and the cheese melted. I have an oven, a microwave and a toaster at work. What is the best way to do this since at home I usually use my george foreman grill to make paninis? If the oven is the best I need to know the temp to set it to and the time. Thanks. Ah my mom just called me I'm having lunch out with her. Thanks anyways will do for next time.

  1. Oven - very hot 425, and just watch it - should be great.
  2. preheat to 300 for 10 minutes then let toast until nice and melty
  3. I would go for the oven, but it might take the longest. The microwave might harden the bread and make the cheese super gooey, if you have a toaster oven? probably the best bet... but you said toaster and I imagined a big sandwich going into a little toaster meant for bread slices, and that would just be awful. :)
  4. you can take the chicken and cheese off, put piled on a plate and zap it in the microwave for like 30 seconds or so to get it warm and melty. Then you can toast the bread in the toaster and put it all together. I do that with ham sandwiches all the time. The oven takes too long.
  5. Definitely a hot oven but make sure to flip it over half way through heating.
