  1. yup, you are in your growinng stage
  2. LE DUH
  3. yes. there just growing.
  4. It's very normal for boys of that age to eat like it is going out of style.
  5. It's not healthy for anyone to eat quite alot.
  6. Well.. not a lot of junk food but healthy foods are good for you..
  7. Yeah its fine, teenagers have fast metabolisms....if your not fat its healthy to eat whatever you want.
  8. Obesity is good for your....... .. .. when I find out I'll tell you.
  9. Yep. Your body is growing so fast you are probably more hungry than the average adult (boys tend to be worse). Just try to make healthy choices and then I wouldn't worry about it.
  10. you shouldn't eat fatty stuff because it'll come back to u wen u get older, but yes it is normal especially for men, to feel the need to eat alot. just eat healthy!
  11. your growing..its normal i'm 22 and eat ALOT!!!!!
  12. I'm in the same age group, and people are always eating junk food.
  13. Teenangers do tend to eat a lot, but it's not necessarily healthy... and judging by what you described, it's not. If they were eating fruits, veggies, etc, it wouldn't be so bad. Boys tend to eat a lot to "bulk up" but if they aren't eating the right stuff and exercising, they will just end up obese.
  14. Yes! They are growing so they need to make their bones stronger but eating to much junk food isn't the best. The best way to make your bones stronger is eating healthy foods.!
  15. yes
  16. No too much junk food, it will raise your blood pressure, cholesterol and increase your risk for diabetes.
  17. Yup i at like all the time, and i can't even get my weight passed 100. its normal though, teens usually eat double then when they were 10......
  18. Yes.. its perfectly normal... because at this time in their lives (ages 15-18) their still in their growing stage and this is the time in their lives that their bodies really absorb all the food in helping them grow. Now as for the junk food their eating, that can be bad for them because it wont necessarily help them grow.. just get overweight.
  19. You have to take in consideration the size of the boys...if they are athletes or have high metabolisms due to genetics then yes, it is fine....if they are overweight they shouldn't be eating even more fattening foods.
  20. just face it we are living in the age of fat, ugly, obese, weirdos. i certainly don;t do that. I know my limits and ever body else should too!
  21. no way r they FAT?? That is so not healthy only if it is not junk food!
  22. As long as they are active, yes it is ok for teenagers to eat a lot. Your body is growing and you need food. You can tell if you are eating too much by checking your weight every so often.
  23. Yes, teenage boys are growing.
  24. Even if your growing that doesn't mean it's good for you. You want to help your growth be eating healthy foods ok.If there is too much fat and junk food in your diet you won't like what you look like when your older your food changes your appearence. Try to stay healthy and then you will get used to having alot of healthy things to eat :)
  25. well i wouldent say eating all that types of food is good for you but when at that age its good to eat alot because ur growing and around 18 is when your body like stops growing for a while so tell them to eat as much as possible but just dont eat to much of that junk food cause it could kill them or give them high blood pressure
  26. I stuff myself lol. Yeah There is a whole lot of growing during that time. So, your body needs food to grow into a healthy adult. Junk food on the other hand, is not healthy. Every once in a while it's not too bad.
  27. yes, I'd say its normal. During your adolescence, your body is growing and changing. You can't move if you don't have fuel. This time for many will be the only time in their lives that they can eat and burn it off, not gain weight. Enjoy. Eat. Remember to exercise, drink your milk, and plenty of colourful vegetables. What you put in their now will build the body you will have for the rest of your life, build it good.
  28. I have a 15 year boy and he whats to eat everything after going grocery shopping. Its like we never feed him. He also goes to the store with us and takes whatever he likes. He is used to the more nutritional stuff that is why I don't mind him putting stuff in the cart. He usually picks yougurt, milkshakes, smothies, pudding and fruites. He just east everything in one day. He also east all the cereals we buy in two to three days along with his brother who is 14. I don't mind becasue they are not eating fatty foods and they are very thin. They don't like dinner all that much they preffer to drink a smoothie or make a milk shake. Or start eating whatever ceral there is. They oviously don't like real dinners. Best of luck with your teenager.
  29. It is very normal for growing teenagers to eat more during this growing period. However, the foods you list here are just empty calories and will not give the right nutrients a body needs to grow strong muscles and bone structure. Besides, eating empty calories will only cause you to feel hungry more often, and thus you will feel tired and gain weight. Obesity is a problem with young kids these days... So eat healthy foods such and fruit, nuts, veggies, protein, dairy, whole grains.
  30. Teens grow a lot, so they need to eat a lot. Teen boys are into bulk, erroneously believing that more food builds more muscle. Tastes change at puberty. Teens, in general, increase their preference for fat. Boys also increase their cravings for protein-rich foods, perhaps believing that meat builds muscle. However, even though it is quite commonplace and natural for teenagers to crave lots of food, teens have to use caution and make food choices that are weighed equaly across the four food group spectrum. So, it can be perfectly healthy for teens to eat quite a lot as long as they are eating responsibly and in a health-conscious way.
  31. its normal
  32. it depends how healthy the food is. if its like what u said like cookies and dougnuts then its probably not too good
