Fancy a Wrap?
Ok. It used to be a sandwich for lunch, then it went to subs and then to paninis (well in the UK anyways)... however would you be happy to buy a wrap for lunch from a store that promotes, freshness, health and greeness (is that a word?)... Furthermore would you be prepared to pick wraps over the strodgy, heavy sandwich/sub/panini alternatives??? PS... I'm currently working on a fastfood business which offers healthy food instead of the current rubbish, specialising in wraps... do you think you would use such a service??? Please expand your answer all you wish... thanks!

- In the small city that I'm from - wraps are old news - I don't know what they've been replaced with, but they aren't "it" anymore. Sorry.
- i try to order wraps often. I don't know if it's a national chain, but in Georgia, we have a place called Great Wraps. They try to be healthy, but I suppose you have to cater to people who have grown up eating ranch dressing and cheese on everything. I would love to go into a nice, clean franchise restaurant and be able to order a nice roasted veggie wrap with fresh feta sauce and not pay a ridiculous amount for it. good luck with the business-if you want to expand to the US, let me know!
- Wraps are great but in order to keep up with the other alternatives you mentioned you need to come up with some new ideas. For instance, spinach, chili, cheese or other flavors of wrappers. I'd even work on a focaccia style wrapper with herbs and cheese cooked into the wrapper itself. Then I'd develop a few "special sauces" or salsa type condiments to go with them. To keep up in this day of fast food and technology you have to keep developing new and fresh ideas. Keep up the freshness, health and green-ness (if it's not a word it should be) attitude, we all need to eat healthier. Good Luck
- My family loves wraps. I pack them for my children to take to school a few times a week. Great way to give them whole grains without the flavour or texture of whole grain bread. When we eat out, wraps are always a good option. With all of the health concerns in my family I appreciate a restaurant that offers healthy options and will only frequest those that do. They are also a great portable food to eat on the run.
- MMmmmmmmmm. I love healthy wraps, especially one called California Chicken. I also like vegetarian panini.
- I would definitely buy from a place like that. But, sadly, there are a lot of people that wouldn't. You're gonna hafta make more varied items than wraps and you're gonna hafta keep your prices competitive. Good Luck though.
