Best Panini Grill

I would like to know if this is a good sandwich?

(please try this sandwich before answering it) 2 pieces of good peasent bread or any other good bread 1 thick slice of tomato 5-6 Leaves of fresh or dried basil if u don't have fresh 1 Slice fresh or packaged mozzarella Then grill like a panini or with a panini grill (if u own one) or u could just put a slightly heavy pan on top of the sandwich (but not to heavy or everything will come off the sandwich). Then enjoy and tell me what u think!

3. I would add more cheese, because there's not much to the sandwhich. You can find similar sandwhiches at Italian Delis. Sounds almost like an Antipasto salad on bread. I'd try it, but I've a) had similar, b) just ate, and c) don't have all the ingredients.

6. This is an excellent sandwich, i made it on toast instead with an egg and bacon as well ;-) it was pretty darn tasty. Or you can make it opened face, but the melted cheese slides off the tomatoes, so it gets a bit messy :-

8. sounds OK, but i prefer a toasted sandwich with pepperoni, ham, salami and mozzarella with a little mayo and lettuce. now THATS a sandwich!! x
9. I have tried this particular panini before. We made them at the restaurant where I worked. They were called "Caprese Paninis" because of the tomatoes and mozzarella. A very delicious sandwich you have concocted, very similar to the sandwich I enjoyed. All that is missing is the focaccia or ciabatta roll.
