How healthy is my diet?
Going to start working out again, and I know nutrition is an important part of getting in shape. I am 6' tall and weigh 180 lbs. I have 2 cups of Special K, with a banana, and 1% milk for breakfast. I have 2 8oz Red Bulls every morning as well. Lunch is either a salad(romaine lettuce, grilled chix, apples, corn, carrots, and egg whites with low fat raspberry vinagrette), or a turkey and american cheese panini, or burrito with grilled chicken, cheese, spanish rice. Most days it is the salad though. Dinner changes a lot, but typically a chicken based meal with one veggie and a side (potato, pasta, etc). I drink beer on the weekends.

- i think its good
- I think except for the beer its a good healthy diet
- Seems pretty good and balanced. I dont know about the 2 red bulls though.
- it's fine except for the two red bulls and the beer. If you drink red bull regularly it can be bad for you and if you're going to drink beer don't have a lot and drink light.
- Not too bad, but I would definitely add some small meals in between. 5-6 small meals, three hours apart is better for your energy level, immunity and metabolism than 3 larger meals. We all have our vices, but cutting down to just one Red Bull per day would improve your diet for sure.
- you should drink more water
- Depends, are you trying to lose weight or muscle up? Ditch the redbulls first off. Those things are full of horrible chemicals. If you are trying to gain muscle mass then eat more protein than youre showing here...but the rest looks really good actually. And rice/pasta are good for cardio days and workout days as long as its not greasy stuff. I'm 5'10 , 180 and thats what I try to maintain diet wise. Beer is fine on the days off as long as you don't over do it.
- I wouldn't be drinking the red bulls. They have a huge load of caffeine, which isn't very good for you; I'd snack on something else, a low fat option like yogurt or fruit. Beer isn't a healthy option either, but a little bit on the weekends is all right. Otherwise, your diet sounds all right. Just make sure, if you want to lose weight, that the amount of calories you take in is less than the amount of calories you burn. Good luck!
