- "A panini (plural) or panino (singular) (pronounced /pəˈniːnoʊ/) is a sandwich made from a small loaf of bread, typically a ciabatta. The loaf is often cut horizontally and filled with salami, ham, meat, cheese or other food, and sometimes served hot. A grilled panino is buttered on the outside and grilled in a press."
- Well, take some bread (sourdough is my fav) and whatever meat and cheese you like. Here is my recipe cooked and sliced chicken parmasean and other sliced cheeses cooked onions (in oil till they are slightly brown) cilantro salt sourdough bread put cooked chicken, onions and cheese onto the bread and place in pan with olive oil. Let it cook until both sides of the bread is brown, then add a dash of salt, and voila! i love panera, btw.
- I like steak and cheese. It's a really simple version. Toast some bread, whatever kind you like with a little butter. I would do this on a pan. Fry shaved beef with a little oil on another pan. It cooks really fast. When it's almost done, top the steak with provolone cheese. Then, transfer to your bread. Add a little mayo on your bread if you like. It's soooo yummy! Salt and pepper to your taste.
- This is my favorite sandwich recipe. Simply sinful! Grilled Cream cheese sandwiches: Cut very fresh french bread into 1/2 inch slices. Butter one side of each, put one side on pan. Cut a chunk of cream cheese to taste (mine are about 1/4 in to 1/2 inch thick). Spread on the bread. Top with the best tomatoes you can find. Salt and pepper. Add the other slice of bread, buttered side up. Grill one side until brown. Flip over, grill the other side until brown. MMMMMmmmmm. Enjoy! Chris
