Sandwich Ideas?
I want to make some kind of a sandwich using this Avocado Hummus recipe I found. http://www.recipezaar.com/162721 I want to make some sort of a vegetarian sandwich. I don't know what other vegetables/cheese kind of bread or whatever else I should use to make it. I'm not sure if it should be a hot or cold sandwich. I guess I could make it a wrap or a panini or whatever. Anyway I'm just looking for ideas. Thanks.

- Start with a nice ciabatta roll, use the Avocado Hummus as a spread, add tomato slices, add one or two slices of a mild cheese, a tasty lettuce like red leaf.
- I used to make avocado, cream cheese, alfala bean sprout with light mayo in rye bread. Don't know if this may sound good to you.
- ciabatta bread and on each slice place in this order low fat spread any flavour jam/jelly( for our american friends) a medium slice of cheese liberal spreading of Marmite or equivalent topped off with tuna flakes sandwich together sit back and enjoy
- take you r bread or tortilla, spread on hummus, add chopped onions, diced tomatoes, cheese, and maybe even alfalfa sprouts , thinly sliced cucumbers , or portabella mushrooms.
- BBQ Pork for Sandwiches INGREDIENTS * 1 (14 ounce) can beef broth * 3 pounds boneless pork ribs * 1 (18 ounce) bottle barbeque sauce DIRECTIONS 1. Pour can of beef broth into slow cooker, and add boneless pork ribs. Cook on High heat for 4 hours, or until meat shreds easily. Remove meat, and shred with two forks. It will seem that it's not working right away, but it will. 2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Transfer the shredded pork to a Dutch oven or iron skillet, and stir in barbeque sauce. 3. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until heated through.
